Are marketplace extensions free?
Many packages are free and open source. Paid packages are one-time purchases or subscriptions, and every purchase issues a license key that the SveltyCMS instance verifies before loading the extension.
How do I install a marketplace extension?
Open the package page, copy the install command, and add the package to your SveltyCMS instance. Plugins register through the SlotRegistry; widgets and themes are discovered at build time.
Can I test my own extension before publishing?
Yes. Developer accounts receive a limited 30-day developer licence key when a package is submitted, so you can run and test the extension end to end. The key is for development and staging, not production distribution.
How are packages distributed?
Extensions are published as npm packages with SveltyCMS-specific keywords. The marketplace indexes them, shows install instructions, and distinguishes official from community packages.
